My interest in architecture was apparent at a very young age; I was always acutely aware of how places and spaces made me feel. You could find me playing in cardboard boxes-turned houses, making elaborate blanket tents and drawing floorplans for fun. Looking back, an entrepreneurial spirit was also evident.

In 2013, I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture degree. After several years of actively experiencing every facet of the profession, I ventured out on my own and haven’t looked back.

In addition to my love for architecture and design, I have a strong appreciation for the simple things in life. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, growing vegetable and cut-flower gardens, helping my husband with our hobby cattle farm, chasing after our sons, DIY home improvement projects, and dreaming about how I could convert every abandoned stone schoolhouse or barn sitting out in a pasture into a house!

Simplicity in life and in architecture go hand-in-hand to me, and I enjoy contributing to both the built and social environment using that philosophy.
