On-site measurements may include documenting existing:

• floor space and partition locations, with door and window locations and sizes

• ceiling heights

• fixed furniture or cabinetry

• vertical and horizontal means of egress

• structural components, if applicable and safely / easily accessible

• existing materials

• location of existing mechanical rooms

• location of existing fire safety components

• outdoor spaces, if applicable

From these measurements, existing plans and elevations are drawn with computer software, from which pdfs of design or marketing materials can be produced.
